Nice little piece. I'd suggest to keep the piano playing during the guitar solos or put something in (like a rhythm guitar) to keep up the harmonies. Only bass is a little thin for me.

spacedog,
Thanks for compliments. The older jazz styles tend to contribute to the feeling of walk, or strut.
boehm,
I also did think it was missing something there, but wanted to feature the nice guitar.
Thin would be a good description.
Will wait a bit for other comments, and try to re-do...
Thank you.

Very good old style jazz.
Personally I liked the guitar, bass and drum breaks. I think the problem is volume. You might try drastically lowering the piano volume during the sax parts. That may eliminate the extreme volume differences between the parts. Just my thoughts.
Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Made several modifications.
First Guenther,
I added RealTracks in song: ~938:Guitar, Acoustic, Rhythm JazzFreddie Sw 110 to play with the Lead guitar.
Mario,
I cut the piano level as you suggested.
Also cut couple of gotchas in instrument changes.
Same link in original post has changes.
Thanks folks!

Very nice, easy, comfortable piece...my only comment...I'd try something different to replace the BIAB ending..otherwise, really enjoyed it!

Enjoyable Jazz piece. Love the guitar solo and the horns don't sound too shabby either. Nice arrangement, which puts you in a good mood.
Nice job!

Tano,
I've been working with DS al Coda to create more elaborate endings. This song was created some time ago. Also I actually liked the ending, bit different. Thinking of live band type ending. Sorry didn't sit well with you.
Thanks for compliments.
jptjptjpt,
Glad you like the drums, and guitar. Thru listening to you folks music, it has helped me a great deal in realizing the part drums take. RT's on the guitar bounced against the unique chords. Took a little while to settle on that version.
Thank you.
Noel,
The style is very old, chord progression very old, instrument selected were old versions, I'm very OLD.... The style with the chords helped make the sound.
Thanks for compliments.
MikeK,
Glad you enjoyed the song. So far to avoid being banned from forums, have not created songs with vocals. RT's are simply a joy to work with. Helps us all create good sounds.
Mentioned vocals above due to fact been creating only instrumentals. I've concentrated on creating easy and happy listening music(Mostly). Appreciate your "Good mood" comment.
Again thanks.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
