Oczywiście. Jest wiele sposobów, najprostszy to podłącz klawisz do kompuera poprzez port midi (z klawisza wychodzisz OUT , do komputera wchodzisz IN) . Nastepnie w pierwszym rzędzie Głownej listwy narzędzi - po prawej górnej stronie ekranu, uruchom dialog Nagrywanie melodii klikając ikonkę "czerwone kółko" . Ustal parametry nagrywania (od począku utworu, od danego aktu, chorus etc. ) oraz wciśnij klawisz graj, a melodia którą zagrasz, zostanie zarejestrowana na kanale Melodysty.

Aby bezproblemowo i skutecznie korzystać z fuknkcji nagrywania MIDI należy uruchomić dialog Opcje | Ustawienia Drivera MIDI, a w nim :
1. Wskazać poprawnie Driver Wejścia i Wyjścia MIDI dla Twojej karty muzycznej
2. Ustawić opóźnienie wybierając komendę Ustaw opóźnienie.

Ta funkcja pozwala Ci dostosować opóźnienie na ucho dla synt innych niż DXI(GS-WaveTable Synth). Wciśnij START a BB załaduje utwór MIDI grający ćwierćnuty.
Nuty ścieżki MIDI są o kwintę wyżej niż ścieżki audio. Gdy nuty są grane dostosuj opóźnienie pokrędłem aż do pełnego unissona.
Gdy utwór zaczyna się równo ustawionymi ścieżkami, znaczy że skończyłeś. Jeśli nie, to znaczy że pomyliłeś się o ćwierćnutę która jest równa 500 ms.
(np. Jeżeli MIDI zaczyna się ćwierćnutę wcześniej, opóźnienie jest o 500ms za wysokie. Jeżeli audio jest słyszane ćwierćnutę wcześniej to opóźnienie jest o 500ms za niskie.)

Wzbogacony dialog Ustawień Sterownika MIDI/Audio
Przycisk Ustawienia Audio pokazuje status MME/ASIO/ Zawsze ASIO. Nazwa VST lub DXi jest wyświetlana.

Wzbogacona funkcja „Wyszukiwania i zamiany akordów”
Funkcja Wyszukiwania i zamiany akordów może być użyta z rzymską numeracją. Możesz zamienić akord V na V7 lub 5m na 5m7. Ta funkcja jest pamietana pomiędzy utworami, może dotyczyć następnych utworów.

Łatwe wprowadzanie Tekstu w Oknie Notacji
Wpisanie backslash “\” z następującym po nim tekstem wprowadza ten tekst na początku taktu w okienku. N.p. \Hello wprowadzi “Hello” w okienku.

Wpisując “\” uruchamiasz dialog edycji dla sekcji tekstowej.
Wprowadź sekcję tekstową taką jak ”Solo Gitary” i wciśnij Enter.
Ten tekst może być wprowadzony raz na takt. Możesz użyć tego do oznaczenia części utworów oraz do słów dla każdego taktu.
