It doesn't mean that it won't work with other tempos, but it would be best used in a song in that tempo range. When Matt said "No" to your question, he was simply referring to the "Ev" part of your question. That indeed has nothing to do with tempo. Good luck! LLOYD S

They work at tempos higher and lower than that, and it's up to the user to decide when they push that too much. Make your sound your own! .. I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

However, I have found that ones that are faster or slower will sometimes work better. It's a personal choice in a case like that.
