This tune I wrote for two guitars, I recorded it that way playing both guitars.

Then I tried a version with BIAB and liked it better. Those real track guys play so much better than I do. Dig the BIAB bass track, so pro and it really sounds like he came up with the perfect part for this tune.

I used BIAB RealTracks for all tracks except lead guitar. I exported the individual tracks into Reaper where I recorded the guitar part simultaneously recording on a web cam. I added some pictures and video from a ski trip.

Here is the lead sheet:

Frank,

This is exceptional. "Hittin' on all cylinders". Pleasing to listen to. Good mix. Great clean tone on the guitar. And the video worked really well.

I enjoyed it. Hope to hear/see more from you.

Nice.... It reminded me that this year I need to schedule a ski trip to the mts.... it's been too long.

Nothing like a nice slope on a day like there with sub freezing temps so the snow stays fast all day.

Unfortunately, here in NC on a day like that they have the snow machines going full force since natural snow is few and far between....

Last year was a huge bust for the NC slopes.... little snow and above freezing temps kept the season from being a good one. They opened late and closed early and a few resorts never opened all their trails.

nice playing on the video.... I would have muted the video sound on the clips.

Man, we really enjoyed that. Wonderful example of great playing with perfect use of RT's. BTW, I'm a sucker for those bass RTs. I played upright for years....but can almost always find what I want with an RT.

Thanks for posting!!

Hi All,

Thanks for your kind words and encouragement.

Writing music is so much fun. And having a backup bank at my fingertips is even better.

Cheers,

Frank

That's some clean guitar you got going there. Video and the music production are both outstanding. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Frank

Outstanding and Astounding all at the same time. Really tasting jazz playing, the kind I could listen to endlessly. And Jazz Waltz's are always pretty good in my view.

Great job, congratulations.

Frank,

Very, very nice! Great tune, great picking, and the video just brings it together. It's been 100 degrees (plus) for sometime where I am, so this one is really refreshing!
