When I first heard the song, I wasn't sure if I should comment because of the pitch problems. Especially since pitch is a huge problem with me! Melodyne fixed the pitch issues, and the song really shines now. Gotta add Melodyne to my goodies list now...

Joanne,
Thank you. I hear you. Also you have to watch for the way the chord inversions work together with the different instruments and the vocal notes even on simple chords....it's always something. Hey there might be a song in that phrase...LOL!
Hope you have a Merry Christmas too and that you and that sweet little ornery lovable Westie are both over that nasty pitbull attack.

Like them both Josie and like the way you explore and experiment. Refreshing. Joy to you also! - Richard.

Hi Josie, Gosh you sing beautifully. This was so good to listen to! I notice that there has been a comment or two on the chord progression. Personally, I'm a fan of the chords you used. I think they're very inventive and created some really nice musical tensions that resolved with a very satisfying sense of resolution. In fact, I reckon more could even be made from this! I'm with floyd, I bet you could market a CD of songs like this Best wishes, Noel

It's always interesting to hear a radically different interpretation of a standard. And sometimes they work - as does your song! Janice particularly like the choir and the key change. It all landed in a nice place.

Hi Josie!
That was real nice! We loved the simplicity yet fullness of the cut. We particularly enjoyed the modulation with the background choir...sweet! And your voice is crisp and clear. Thanks for a super listen! Merry Christmas!!!

Mario, Alan and Di. Thank you. I appreciate you taking the time to listen and your comments.
Meanwhile, for anyone else seeing this, I'm removing this song from SCloud since Christmas is over to use the space for other things - I don't have a pro account so I don't keep all my songs up on there.
All the best,
Josie

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
