RB is shipped with default settings that change the way files imported from BB are played. This seems wrong on the face of it. It is not even clear to me yet whether it is possible for RB to play BB files as is unless a particular BB file happens to exactly fit the RB defaults.

Because the RB settings are defaults, if you change them but later use the "Revert to factory settings" hack, RB changes back to a state in which it changes patches, and possibly other settings, when a BB file is opened. This is inelegant at best. BB files should determine their own settings, especially patches, when opened in RB.
