Hi all, I have only been using Band in a Box and Real Band for a few months and I am still learning (so please be gentle with me!) This track "Weeping Willow" used BB and Real Band, was recorded and mixed on a SONAR X2 DAW and mastered using the T-Racks 3 mastering suite. I use a Soundblaster X-Fi Titanium HD soundcard. I think BB and Real Band is the best software package I have ever used!!! Weeping Willow I hope the link works. Enjoy. Malcolm.

Malcolm,
Welcome! Terrific first post! An enjoyable listen.
Really well mixed - this ain't your first rodeo, I'd say... Would be nice to hear the electric piano take a lead for part of it..
You've hit the ground running... looking forward to more...

Nice job .... One of the things I loved in the early days (with BB) was the ability to mix instruments from other genre's into whatever I was working on.
Fiddle and steel guitar for example into jazz or funk...or hard rock...
Imagine the looks from the players of those styles if you tried to get them together in a room to play....
enjoyable listen

Hi Malcolm,
Very enjoyable listen. Just wondering did you do the fiddle playing in this one?
Welcome aboard!

Folks here are of the gentle nature even when they have nits to pick...but you've come aboard with a fine production. I like the rhythmic mashup a lot and the fiddle sounds fantastic. Thanks for the post.

Hi Malcolm, Wonderful first post. I loved the combination of styles, fiddle with smooth jazz combo. Agreed with Floyd about the electric piano solo at some point. I was actually waiting for it, never the less, great song.

Malcolm, great arrangement, really liked the instruments and overall layout. A nice listen. The electric piano in the backing fits really well, with nothing getting in the way. Great and interesting choice of instruments. Nice....

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
