Down At The Country Music Club

Down at the country music club
It's country music that we love
You can strut your stuff in style guarantee you'll get a smile
Down at the country music club

Got Charlie Pride and Willie singin songs
They won't mind if you sing a-long
Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton, and if you peek behind the curtain
You may find a country cousin of your own

Down at the country music club
It's country music that we love
You can strut your stuff in style guarantee you'll get a smile
Down at the country music club

Got lots of singers for you here to-day
And old guitar players who love to play
And you'll hear that song again the one you heard just last weekend
So clap your hands and smile just one more time --- pulease

Down at the country music club
It's country music that we love
You can strut your stuff in style guarantee you'll get a smile
Down at the country music club

Supper times the time to have a chat
Find out what's doing who and all of that
Then back for that final burst then to the pub or to the church
Till the next time that I see you all a-gain

Down at the country music club
It's country music that we love
You can strut your stuff in style guarantee you'll get a smile
Down at the country music club

Thanks PgFantastic. Have enjoyed your songs here and at the FAWM site. I see we're both up to 7 songs in 14 days. BIAB sure makes doing the backings easy. Over 4000 new songs there so far. Too many to listen to. Amazing. It sure keeps me out of mischief for this month. My wife is not too impressed though.

Hi Richard,

This is a great effort given that you've been writing a song every couple of days for FAWM. I'm impressed.

The chorus really appealed to me. Lyrically I thought it was very strong. The rhyme burst/church in the last verse made me smile, too. That's very inventive!

All the best with FAWM,
Noel

Rich, I spent a little time in those country music clubs. I like the line "And you'll hear that song again the one you heard just last weekend". The NO boogie style works well with this one. Keep cranking them out. Tom

Thanks Noel.
Our songsmith sessions got me somewhat organized and am now trying to put the info you provided into practice. Thanks again.

And thanks Tommy.
Often we can name the song as soon as the singer is announced. Same old song. Same old instrumentals. Wheels, Freight train, San antonio rose but I must admit I never get tired of Guitar boogie.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
