I like this a lot, especially the guitar leads. My only complaint is that there was not enough guitar leads in the song as I much prefer the guitar leads over the synth leads. I though the synth leads were a little redundant, however that my just be me and YMMV.

It is a good song!

eric,

Always enjoy your guitar. You were really cookin' on this one. I agree with Mario - the synth could have lasted maybe 30 seconds and then bring your guitar back in about 1:30... Good rhythm to the backing tracks (the end was a bit abrupt). I also thought a trumpet would have been a nice addition to this one...

Love the guitar.

Greg spoke the exact words I initially thought. Carlos would really like that.

Maybe the synth solo is a touch too long, and repetitive. I was trying to use it as a hook but it didn't quite do that for me.

Nice feel and groove though throughout the whole song, but perhaps the ending was a little unpredictable / truncated?

Hi, Eric !:))

I liked your mambo truly very much !
You are mastering this latin genré also
I can hear !:)) I think you´ve really
captured the right mood here. I see

Hi Eric,

nice playing and a great guitar tone.
Agree with some others: It's a pity you didn't
bring back your guitar after some synth lead.

Hi Greg, I agree, your guitar playing is way too good not to return on a third chorus. Great stuff!

Hey eric,

Absolutely every time I hear you play, I come away thinking "I wish I knew how to play guitar". You're very talented and your music is ALWAYS a pleasure to listen to.

I really enjoyed this. It's great to hear something Latin.

Regards,
Noel

Well, I know many artists don't like comparisons....but I'm gonna jump on the Santana bandwagon here. Mighty tasty and a cool backup to go with the wonderful guitar. I love this music!

User Tip: How to add drum fills without changing any other tracks

MarioD has shared some great advice when it comes to adding drum fills without changing any other tracks in your song:

There have been a number of questions asking how to add drum fills without changing any other tracks in a song. This is especially important if one is holding a chord for a few measures and wants to add a drum fill prior to the next chord. The following is how to accomplish that:

1-get the instruments/tracks to play like you want but don't worry about the drums for now.
2-generate the song.
3-freeze all tracks
4-unfreeze the drum track
5-add your fills where you want them
6-generated the song again - note this will only generate the drum track and not the frozen tracks
7- when you get the drums like you want them freeze the track

Review - Band-in-a-Box® 2023 for Windows is Overflowing with Features!

Dennis posted his very thorough Band-in-a-Box® review recently, where he dives into some of the new features added with version 2023: Sound-Guy's Band-in-a-Box Review

Read his thoughts on the Download & Install Manager, partial track regeneration, Playable RealTracks, Audio Editing, the addition of SynthMaster, the VST DAW Plugin, and more!

"Band-in-a-Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is, without negative connotation, a monster of a program. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. No DAW can do some of the things BIAB does, while BIAB can do a lot that DAWs do."
