And here are the lyrics:

SINGING THE BLUES AWAY (by Dani)
Still waiting for that sign from you
and I hope that you are allright, my dear?
I am longing for your touch again
and that´s why I am blue, oh so blue

Trying to sing, singing the blues away
singing the blues, singing the blues away
trying to sing, singing the blues away
singing the blues, singing the blues away

When will we meet again, my love ?
You know I´m yearning for you, night and day
I´ll love you till the end of days
till the end of days

Trying to sing, singing the blues away
singing the blues, singing the blues away
trying to sing, singing the blues away
singing the blues, singing the blues away

solo

Trying to sing, singing the blues away
singing the blues, singing the blues away
trying to sing, singing the blues away
singing the blues, singing the blues away
away

Dani, another nice sensitive number, with lots of feeling, and we understand the meaning behind the song.

Really enjoyable. My only comment is that the lyrics might have become slightly too repetitive.

Great Bossa feel and tempo.

Cheers

Hi Dani...

Very nice! loved the easy flow and "dreamy" aura. And Dean did a real nice job on the guitar.

We love Bossa Nova and this is a real nice example of the genre. Good job!

Dani, You 've got a nice mix on this. The instruments are perfectly placed. Great harmonies. I like the melody. The solo is just right. Nice job guys. Tom

Dani,

+1 to Tom's remarks - nice mix, placement, vocals.. Dean's solo works nicely. When the vocal begins it is a little low and gets lost (just a bit) in the mix. By the chorus, it's good and from there on out, no problem.

As Trevor says, there is repetition in the chorus. You could break that (if you chose) by changing your 3rd line - a personal choice, though...

Very enjoyable.

Hi, Floyd !:))

Thank you for your most kind
and constructive comments !:))
You are perfectly right and I
agree with you on all points !
I was going to lift the start
vocals but then I discovered
that I did not have Dean´s solo
separately so for the moment I
cannot do it !:))You´re right
with the repetitiveness too. That
was just my laziness (chuckle) especially
as I have already wrote another song (lol) !:))

Cheers

Hi, Guenter !:))

You are way too kind in
your comments but I do
appreciate it truly much !:))
Yes, the emotion is there.
In fact I have difficulties
in writing anything that does not
involve my dear late wife Beni
as she was my everything and I miss
her just too much !:))

Cheers

Very sweet and laidback. Nice summery sort of sound. Would like the lyrics clearer. Nice sentiment!

Hi, Rich !:))

You are also too kind
but it felt good to get
your kind comments !:))

I am afraid I cannot do
very much to get the lyrics
clearer at this moment,
I could remix but then I do not
have Dean´s solo separately so
if I can get it I might try !:))

Cheers
Dani

I couldn't say it any better. "Dreamy aura" is a great description. It shimmers. Very nice.

Hey Dani, nice work!! You really have your own style. I hear some retro in it, which I love. I am more into the old sound than the new sound. Keep it up! Take care. Greg

Excellent arrangement. I would never guess only four or five RT's because there is such a big sound.
Dean's guitar work is crisp as are the vocals. Sounds like an orchestra and a choir.

I got a real 'The 5th Dimension' vibe from this.

Dani,

Another nice collar. I also hear a little Fifth Dimension here.
