Lyrics:

Friendship (by Dani)

Friends, how wonderful to have such friends like you
friends, I know will be there to see me through
when I am feeling blue

You´re always there
to comfort me and share
my good times too

Friends, I don´t know how I could have done it at all
friends, you kept me going though everything seemed
black and I was near to fall

You´re always there
to comfort me and share
my good times too

How precious isn´t friendship when it´s true?
I hope you all have felt true friendship too?
yes I do, yes I do

Solo

You´re always there
to comfort me and share
my good times too

How precious isn´t friendship when it´s true?
I hope you all have felt true friendship too?
yes I do, I really do

"It is one of the blessings of old friends that you can afford to be stupid with them."
Ralph Waldo Emerson

I always think of the above quote when it comes to old friends.

Treasure them my friend. You are blessed to both have and appreciate them. Nice tribute and well done all the way around.

Thanks for doing my request Dani. Great sentiment and very smooth. I like the sort of chorus sound. I found the fellowship among the barbershoppers quite amazing. Cheers.

Hey Dani,

Here's the right song for a magnetic guy that attracts friends like a magnet attracts iron filings. Trademark harmonies, good changes, all the right musical stuff. And a transcending theme. I know that "What The World Needs Now is Love, Sweet Love ..." but in today's world of daily disasters - mud slides, disappearing airliners, vanishing Nigerian schoolgirls, tribal warfare, rampaging shooters - even just a little more Friendship would help.

Hi, Scott !:))

How nice when you say you
think this was awesome !:))
I feel humbled, but you know,
it was easier to write when
you are in a "good friend" mood !:))

I enjoyed that chord changes. It's been a long time since I used the SAX.... it sounded good.

Hi, DA !

Thank you for your most kind
comment !:)) Friendship may
not be so difficult to write
a song about ? :))I guess we
all have good friends around us
keeping us going ? :))

I can reveal that it was
friends from this and certain
other sites that helped me get over
my darkest moments !:))

That is what I would call friendship !:))

Cheers

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
