I think losing your mom is one of the hardest hits in life you will ever take. Spouses and children are right up there too.

My mom just passed after 96 years on this planet, back in February.

So I can relate a bit to what you're going through right now.

Nice peaceful and reflective song. A fitting tribute.

Thanks Herb. Indeed, there is none like one's mom.

Love your tagline BTW - it's the secret to songwriting IMO.

Don ...

Very sorry to hear of your mother's passing. My mom died 2 years ago in February. She was 90 years old.

This is so very pretty and a wonderful piece to celebrate your mother's time here on Earth. That was a wonderful listen ... thanks! Best to you and your family.

Hi, Don !

I am also sorry for your loss !
(That goes for Herb too) !!
I lost my dear wife for 42 years
4 years ago and I will never
completely get over it ! Time
is the only thing that can ease
the pain at least to some extent !

I can relate to your feelings, they
do reveal themselves with your beautiful
tribute !

Take care !

Dani

Nice tribute to your mom-sweet and melancholy. Nicely done music. I would put a little reverb on the sax and drums to create a little space. Nice work. Take care. Greg

This is a fantastic tribute to your mom. My mom passed away last September at the age of 96 so I can feel your pain.

May God bless you during this difficult time.

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.
Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Lovely composition. It conveyed the sadness of loss, but that sax also expressed the joy of living.

My condolences. Wishing you peace.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
