I have noticed in the past that a wav file does play along with the
style/song entered. Just chalked it up to left over rendering.
Now that is the reason to "rename" the wav file during the save process.

However what really tickles me is this.
When you create a UserTrack(UT) a good thing happens.
Once completed.

The wav file and the sgu file are same name.
So if you double click the sgu file, it opens up with the Dream style.
The wav file created using the template plays right along
with the sgu in the audio track.

This is a very good thing when working on the UT creation and testing.
It nails the sounds that were recorded. Excellent test it is.

Anyway, appreciate solidrocks answer, it accidentally solved my question.

Its simply amazing what can be learned by reading some of the postings.
