After using help and doing what I thought would make sense I am still stuck
I created a 41 bar song. BIAB automatically has a 3X repeat at the end. Problem is I want this song to play 4 choruses, not 3. I clicked on the endings/repeat function. I manually typed in 4 at the repeat function and on my BIAB song I created, it actually says 4, but it only plays for 3 choruses.
The other issue I'm having is I want the song to slow down in tempo for the last 3 measures of the LAST (the fourth) chorus to signify the end of the song. I know how to slow down the tempo, but the problem is it is slowing down on EACH chorus as opposed to just the final chorus
Help is appreciated Curt

Might you have frozen the tracks before you made the change in the number of choruses?

Hi
Thank you. How do I unfreeze the tracks, if in fact that is what I did?

If the tracks are frozen, you will see an asterisk (they call it a snowflake - "freeze", get it?) after each instrument name.
Ex. Drums* instead of Drums
Then if you right-click on the instrument name, you will see options near the bottom to freeze or unfreeze that track.
[If you right-click on Master, you can freeze/unfreeze all tracks in one operation.]

I think you can slow the tempo by highlighting the bar where you want the tempo change to begin and key F5 to open a new window where you can manually adjust the tempo or change it by a percentage among other things.

I would do the slowdown using F5 as mentioned, but on a Tag. That way, it doesn't affect each chorus.
But first, have you solved the number of choruses problem?

First, unfold to one chorus as BB likes to call it.
Then it's a simple matter of copy the part and paste it to make the song longer.
Since you understand how to slow it down by adjusting the measures.... simply do that.
Don't forget to set the tempo back to the original speed after the slow down parts.
If you want to make the tempo change smoother, go a step further and split the measures into measures of 2 beats as opposed to 4 beats. Then you can slow each one progressively more, thereby making the tempo change smoother to the ear. I did this on a tune recently and I believe you must add new measures..... so if the tempo change is over 3 measures..... you would add 3 measure and change all 6 of them... 3 original ones and 3 added ones..... to TWO beat measures.... the project will not sound any different because the number of beats remains constant..... but now, you can change the tempo down in speed 6 times with smaller jumps as opposed to 3 times with larger jumps.
hope this helps

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
