Hi Greg,
Thank you! You are right about the slight 'sync' difference between these two user tracks. We noticed that too, but couldn't change much about that (it would only have made things worse).
Regards, Rob and Anne-Marie

Hi Mario, Glad you agree with me, however I hope our next song will even be better We sent a message to Rodney and Hezy to check out this post. We hope they like what we've done with their user tracks. Regards, Rob and Anne-Marie

Thanks Dani!
Our next song will be a duet as well (sort of) although completely different from this one.

Hi Alyn,
Thank you! About Rodney's user track: It doesn't match all that many songs, however it really adds something extra to the ones it does. We did have to do some editing on it, because the sustain of one note tends to be the beginning of another. We had to trim every part.
Regards, Rob and Anne-Marie

Hi Rob and Anne-Marie Greetings from sunny Florida. What a magnificent song! The lyrics may have taken some time but were well worth the effort. Interesting sentiment that many might understand. Good tune too and the change at the Chorus surprised and delighted me. Also to finish at the end of the second chorus was also a delight. V unusual. Well done! Cheers Ian PS - when we get back I must try harder to get User Tracks to work. I have not ANY of them work when I download them. I must be doing something wrong - I just don't know what. Lol. ( great song title ;-) )

.... Luckily we don't have to record on tape anymore. Some 20 years ago when I recorded on a four track cassette recorder, the tape was worn out on a regular basis, and I had to start from scratch again Regards, Rob Rob, The quote above made me laugh out loud - do I remember those days. Nice to hear some user tracks. I have looked but I end up getting lost in that forum so I haven't tried any yet. I wish there was a way to categorize them somehow making it easier to find things. +1 on what's already been said. I especially liked the higher harmony which blends so beautifully with your voice tone. Josie

Rob and Ann-Marie,
A beautiful song. I like the writing. Both lyrically and melodically. For some reason, it reminded me of Jacques Brel (except in English!)... Beautiful vocals/harmonies.
Cool that you have used User Tracks. Obviously, I am in a minority here... I did not care for the Vibrato electric. To my ear, it clashed with the nylon finger picking. I felt that the nylon finger picking track could have stood alone for this. Seems like everyone else like it a lot... so.. just me...
Wonderful song.

Thanks Floyd!
The vibrato usertrack is a matter of taste I guess. The spanish fingerpicking track indeed is good enough to stand on it's own. I think it's the best usertrack so far. Most guitar and piano usertracks I tried so far had syncing problems, this one is clearly an exception.
Regards, Rob

That fingerpicked nylon was enough to get me over and peruse that forum. It sounds great. The wonderfully written lyric is incredibly well executed vocally. One of the best flashback "wondering how it could have gone" tunes I've heard. Those are hard to pull off without sounding angst ridden. This one works incredibly well. I much enjoyed the listen and look forward to the video this evening on the "big screen."
PS Thanks for the backstory. It's always interesting to hear how songs developed.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
