Isla's Waltz played on Pedal Steel Guitar (PSG) http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=12935799I sent this to four Country DJs today and have been promised airplay. One in Nashville, three in the UK plus our own Graham Wilson in Inverness, Scotland. All that I can say is: Thank you, Dr Peter Gannon, and your stellar crew. I'm making music again!

Hi Don. Thanks for updating and posting this new version featuring the PSG. It will be hard to top this, the steel really fits well here.

Thanks, Tommy and Charlie, it's very encouraging coming from both of you.
PSG is unique in that listeners seem either to love it OR hate it, no middle ground.
The late Leonard McDonald from Nova Scotia backed me on my original version of "I Could Never Be Ashamed Of You" (as well as adding the mandolin outro track) while in end stages of lung cancer. He was as master of PSG. I've preserved his version as a tribute to Len. He also composed L&B Waltz within 20 minutes from concept to recording. Please give Len an ear squint at my motagator site below.
Another friend of 50+ years was the late Dobro(r) player Mike Auldridge, 4-time winner of Player Of The Year by Guitar Player Magazine. I seem, at 74, to have outlived all of my friends and contacts in the business, but not by much. lol
Today, I'm quite content to devote my time to trying to promote the talents of my PG Music friends, for whom I'll still give my best attempts. My own boat has long since left the dock!

My own boat has long since left the dock! Oh, I wouldn't know about that, and getting actual airplay rather points to the contrary. At any rate your 'boat' certainly seems to still be floating!

Icelander, everything is relative. I'm a mere shadow of my former self but I truly appreciate your encouragement. BIAB has allowed me to express myself musically since being sidelined by illness. I feel deeply indebted to PG Music and my countless forum friends who renew me daily.
Thanks for your encouraging comment.
