Hi, folks ! Been away for quite a long time and it feels almost like starting over again ! In any case, I did this little jazzy tune in between as I somehow got hooked on that nice progression you can hear at the end !:)) ....and I am sailing away with my novia to Stockholm next weekend and the weather is cold..... http://app.box.com/s/brck0xgf9gjk343venkdStyle: JAZZWES:STY Instruments: Bass: 443 AC Bass Jazz Sw 140 Piano: 449 AC Piano Rhytm Jazz sw 140 Drums: Realdrums = Jazzbrushes Guitar: 561 Guitar El Rhytm Jazz Wes Comp sw 140 Soloist 1 : AC Piano Soloist 2 Clarinet Recorded and mixed using mixcraft 6 and zoom H4n. Lyrics: We´ll Find A Way There To Chime (by Dani) © Dani Lindroos 2014 I´m sittin’ here, all alone in the darkness, all light´s gone what will become of love this time I´ve been waitin’, for so long I´ve been waiting, for you to come along but I´ve a feeling I´ve done a crime I just made you blue the other day, babe I did´nt mean to make you cry will you pardon me, no maybe I should have known you were that shy Let’s get together and sail away don´t mind the weather, it´s cold anyway we´ll find a way there to chime Optional verse: Doubt that I´m the one you´re dreamin´of, babe but in my arms you feel secure I love you my way, no maybe so I´ll hope we´ll find a cure Let’s get together and sail away don´t mind the weather, it´s cold night and day we´ll find a way there to chime fade away

Dani,
Been missing you around here but loving this Dani comeback song and your arrangement is just perfect for it. Always my pleasure to hear that big smooth voice. I like that progression too.

Very different for you in terms of instrumentation Dani, but still has your signature feel! I love the upbeat, positive feel. Really enjoyed it!! Good to hear from you again. Take care. Greg

Dani! Good to hear from you again!
Wow, this is a GOOD genre for you! I like this as well as or better than anything you've presented here in the past! I'm not sure I can articulate exactly what appeals to me about it, but I'll try
First of all, the product: You really did an outstanding job of using BIAB in all its glory! The chord progression is very pleasing and well laid out. The parts you chose work perfectly with the mood of the songs and the lyrics. The mix is clear to my ears, nothing muddy or incomplete about it.
But the thing that makes it the best I think is your easy-going style of singing. That genre has typically been dominated by singers like Bing Crosby, Dean Martin etc whose claim to fame is their relaxed style. In that regard, it's almost as though you're the latest member of the rat pack!
I'm duly impressed! I hope you enjoy your sailing trip to Stockholm! Make more music for us when you get back!

Hi Dani,
your absence here on the forum means you were busy with other things and I have a clue. Your new song sounds rather positive and happy. Wish you a nice trip and some good song ideas as a result.

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
