I almost threw this song away...but a friend of mine convinced me not to....So thanks Jimmy....where ever you are....

I recorded this with Power Tracks Pro and played all the instruments myself....my wife and I sang the harmonies....I lost the master seq file so I might have to re-record this again with Realband 2014 or 2015....

Here's the link.... https://soundcloud.com/horst_hartung/bluebird

Thanks Horst

This is a great harmony song - would be a good one to pitch to someone like Emmy Lou Harris especially if she included Dollie and Linda from her Trio days.

Good job. I'm enjoying your posts and always look forward to hearing what you have up next for us.

Great harmony - reminiscent of the
tight harmony we heard from some
of the better groups in the 60's

Nice.

anybody else notice that the time stamp on messages is about 3 hours ahead of the actual post?
For example, I posted this at 2:24 pm. Check out the time stamp

I'm guessing because PG is in western Canada.

that would make the time off in the other direction... when it's 2:44 on the east coast it's 11:44 on the west coast, not 5:44.

We're 5 hours from Greenwich time, so a 3 hour difference in that direction would be somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic.

Apparently when the web site was down, the system clock didn't get set back to the correct time.

This song reminds me of what you might get if you put Fleetwood Mac and Neil Young into a blender and set it to "MIX"

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
