Ain't been here in a while, no good excuses though! I had signed an exclusive deal and couldn't upload any song anywhere else, but it's over now. I did make some money though and spent the last check on 2015 update. Here is one they use to have, but now they don't. Comtemplating Life Ron King on Trumpet, piano by Logic Pro 9

Cool composition and that trumpet playing is mighty nice. This actually has a nice melancholy "seasonal" sound to it. It could be on one of those "winter solstice" CD's. Piano sounds great, too. Did you play it and send it to midi?

Nice!

Ha! I wish, it was a loop made from a stock one verse song from Logic. The original was played out of tune and I used RealBand to put it back in tune. I only play guitar and harmonica.

Hi Tommy,

It's good to see you back again!

This is certainly very different from what I remember of your music. Excellent stuff, though. I enjoyed it!

All the best,

A cool listen, Tommy.

Good to see ya back around.

The trumpet sounded like Springsteen's "Meeting Across The River" (one of my favorites) - gonna have to look that up!!!

Welcome back Tommy.

Listening as I type, and love what I am hearing. Really paints a very laid back mellow picture while enjoying my coffee this morning.

Later,

As with your other tune, a masterful blending of trumpet RT with the piano. Great feel you've developed here! Reminds me of the instrumental section of Don Henley's NEW YORK MINUTE. Great stuff!! Take care. Greg

Extremely nice New Age genre type song. He is one great trumpeter!

Great mix BTW!

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.
Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
