Hello, Everybody,

Do you like Latin Music?
Last year, I've created a CD of ballroom dancing requested by a dance school of my acquaintance.
The Title of the CD is “Fascinating Social Dance Music” which contains 16 songs of various dance styles, such as Waltz, Tango, Quickstep, Foxtrot, Jive, Samba, Rumba, Cha-Cha, Paso Double and so on.
To write those songs, I thankfully used Band in a Box including every music styles.
I will introduce you a Salsa song from the CD.

Title: カリブの誘惑 (Translation: Temptation of the Caribbean)
Vocal: Natsuki Yoshikawa, a jazz singer from my hometown.
Played with Piano Trio, Bandoneon and 4 part strings.
Style is _L_MAMBO.STY
Style Instruments are :
RealTracks in style: :Bass, Acoustic, Mambo Ev 150
RealTracks in style: :Piano, Acoustic, Rhythm Mambo Ev 150
RealDrums in Style: Mambo^1-Sticks,RideClassic

Hello again, Shigeki Adachi.

I really enjoyed listening to this composition. You're a very talented musician. This does not sound like Band In A Box at all.

Also, I love the singer. Such a great voice.

I looking forward to what you plan to post next time. So far it's two great songs out of two great songs!

All the best,
Noel

Shigeki, very nice composition. I especially enjoyed the haunting strings as they weave their way through the song. Well done.

Hello, Noel, Guenter, Patrick, Pradon, Janice & Bud, Alyn and everybody,
Thank you very much for your warm comments.
I am really happy to hear from you.

I sometimes sing myself, but am not a good singer and I’m male.
So I like better my songs to be sung by female singers.
I would like to post my music again.
Thank you

Hi Shigeki, great song and production. I'm not surprised by the salsa vibe and Japanese language, I know that there was a big salsa movement in Japan years ago, being La Orquesta de la Luz band one of my favorites. Looking forward to more from you.

We need a Background Bandneon in BBox, just like this one, that's what really makes this song!
The blend of language and style is just irresistible - BRILLIANT!!

Thank goodness words aren't knives.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
