Hi all. When writing this song I was imagining the US civil war era.
No real story. Just what I imagined things to be.
All comments welcome.
Rob.

Picking Black Eyed Peas

Picking Black Eyed Peas

I went pea picking.
Picking black eyed peas.
I went pea picking.
Picking on my knees.

Picked them by the bushel picked by the pale.
Every single morsel kept me out of jail.
Rise before the sunshine before the sky was blue.
Eating possum stew.

I was banjo picking.
Played beneath the the moon.
I was banjo picking.
To Make my honey swoon.

Picked them by the bushel picked by the pale.
Every single morsel keep me out of jail.
Rise before the sunshine before the sky was blue.
Eating possum stew.

Rob, Great editing on the solos. The bluegrass real tracks are some of the best. Nice vocals. Unlike Alyn I'm praying for rain so I don't have to cut the grass! Tom

Another great job Rob. Harmonies are really tight. The bluegrass style is perfect. My only suggestion is that perhaps the vocals are a little too out in front.

Hey Alyn. Hope the grass cutting went well.

Hi Rob,

Another good, entertaining listen! It's very impressive how quickly you produce songs. You certainly seem to have the hang of Sonar now.

All the best,
Noel

Hello Rob,

We think this is one of your best so far. A very good choice of real tracks, the same goes for the editing of the soloists. This bluegrass style really grows on you.

Well, you've hit on something I've actually done. I've had Black Eye Peas, butter beans, snap beans, field peas, okra, cucumbers, potatoes and more from our gardens in the past. Now, get them from the farmers market. Too much work and no longer cost effective.

Don't do the possum meat, but Rabbit, squirrel, Raccoon and Deer have all graced the table at some point in time.

Fun listen. Everything came together quite well.

Charlie

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
