I played the Electric guitar Lead and fills.
All other parts are from BIAB. I did some editing of those parts.
I used UA Audio plugins in Reaper to mix and master.
Melodyne was used on the lead vox and to make the harmonies.
This is a song written by Greg Michael, a singer song writer client of mine for a CD project I am producing for him.
Hope you like it.

Frogman, you can click on my name (or any name someone's posted) in my post and a menu will pop up. Select 'view posts' and when the next window pops up, all the posts I've made or commented on is listed. Upper right, select 'Topics Created' and most of the User Forum posts will have a song I've uploaded. I appreciate your interest but my work falls short of your productions. I've had friends and other forum members complete a few covers for me and they did outstanding work and that will be worth your time.

Thanks for noticing the Gibson Double neck. That photo was taken in 2009 when the guitar was featured on Antiques Roadshow.

Very well produced and played. Nice to hear a rock/country song with a bit of a dark side. I will keep an ear out for any other tunes you post.

Good clear mix, nice vocals and guitar work.
A great listen to start my day.

I am still singing the chorus as I type this, so that is good!!

I look forward to more

Nice work; has a Travis Tritt feel to it, well put together backing tracks as well!

Very cool song!! Great energy and vibe. Melody is cool, and guitar work is great. Reminds me of the 70's and that was my favorite era. Very nice indeed!! Take care. Greg

Hi Frogman,

We like this song very much!
Your voice doesn't seem to match your picture, it sounds like it belongs too a much younger person (or the picture isn't very embellishing laugh )
Anyway, very good production in every way!

Sweet.

Oh my, it's hard to find fault with really well done harmonies that are "Melodyne perfect". Perhaps a bit too perfect actually. That gives the harmonies a slightly "artificial" sounding aspect. Since you are in Reaper, vary the timing on the harmony tracks to make them slightly more human. Don't get me wrong.... I love and use ME all the time on vocals and more in all of my songs so I'm a huge fan of what ME can do.

Nice all the way around. This is the first I recall seeing you in the showcase. Impressive tune and the production is good.

Is that you singing or Greg? The guitar playing and fills .... nice. Turn the guitar up a few dB.... not much but a slight bump would be nice.

I like this song. Good Work!!

Outstanding production. A really great sound
on our KRK's. The soundstage is excellent with
everything sitting where IMO it should. Cool
write, guitar work and vocals.

Nice!

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
