Here is a piece I created with the Roland SD-50 Mobile Sound Canvas.

The Style is ZZPOPBAL.STY and the midi instruments are:

36 Fretless Elec Bass
1 Acoustic Piano
1 Standard Drum Kit
26 Acoustic Guitar
49 Strings
3/121 Accoustic Piano 3

Nice smooth jazz. I loved the chord changes in this.


My suggestion is that you have a closer look at the reverb on the piano. It sounds like it's not in the same room with the band. Either move the band or move the piano player. Personally, I'd move the piano player and make the keys sound more intimate and closer.

I was going to make a note on that reverb but I see someone beat me to it, so this instead: Adding Realtracks would be the next step for you to look into, or certainly RealDrums if nothing else. You got a very melodic quality to your compositions which I find quite appealing and deserving of that next phase. Keep it up!

Rod I was just getting into your song when it ended. Nice piece! I agree that realtracks and the changing the reverb would do wonders.

Hi Rod, nicely put together and quite melodic. Like the others have mentioned, real tracks could give it more color. Overall, not bad though.
