That new Video Render Button is great, I loaded _CBGE_PD.STY put some chords in and this came out:

lol, no I helped a friend with some songs years ago just after RealTracks came out, recorded a video with just a few HD Cams, mixed it up and sent it in to CMT and it was played on air. It was made straight out the Box so to speak with _CBGE_PD.STY just regenerated the pedal parts to fit in RB.
He was using Magix Studio and told me it was the best ! I said Dude forget Magix !
So just another sample of what can be done with this incredible program.

That is really professional and no wonder CMT played it.
Cable TV took CMT off in the UK a while back and I had that on my TV permanently during the day till that day mad
heard some absolutely great tunes back then

enjoyed that a lot

Very, very cool vocals!!!
What else to say, this is professional and radio ready!

ps: how did you get the video straightly embedded in this forum post? (we've been trying to do this in vain).

Hi there SR.

Well, that's quite outstanding.

Even judged by the high standard of tracks on here these days, that still stands out as one of the very best.

Everything about that song/video screams out professional.

Yeah, you definitely need to post some more of this stuff.

ROG.

Proving once again that less is more and professional quality is the end result. People worthy of BIAB are hard to find. Einstein said we are barely beginning to understand everything around us I can say that about users of BIAB. Really great songs written using BIAB are not easy to come by beyond this forum and I am not talking about commercial backing tracks. You have tapped into something great and you understand that.

Thank You,

Keep Writing...

Yes, awesome track. We don't have a list of them, though that's a good idea. There are lots in the User Showcase, and you can access them from the PG Radio stations or The User Showcase forum.

How enjoyable was that?!!! Man, really nice job. Great song. Good message. Great video and sync. And so cool to see the town square... I love those...I miss seeing them. They don't build 'em like that up here in the Pacific northwest.

Thanks!

User Tip: How to add drum fills without changing any other tracks

MarioD has shared some great advice when it comes to adding drum fills without changing any other tracks in your song:

There have been a number of questions asking how to add drum fills without changing any other tracks in a song. This is especially important if one is holding a chord for a few measures and wants to add a drum fill prior to the next chord. The following is how to accomplish that:

1-get the instruments/tracks to play like you want but don't worry about the drums for now.
2-generate the song.
3-freeze all tracks
4-unfreeze the drum track
5-add your fills where you want them
6-generated the song again - note this will only generate the drum track and not the frozen tracks
7- when you get the drums like you want them freeze the track

Review - Band-in-a-Box® 2023 for Windows is Overflowing with Features!

Dennis posted his very thorough Band-in-a-Box® review recently, where he dives into some of the new features added with version 2023: Sound-Guy's Band-in-a-Box Review

Read his thoughts on the Download & Install Manager, partial track regeneration, Playable RealTracks, Audio Editing, the addition of SynthMaster, the VST DAW Plugin, and more!

"Band-in-a-Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is, without negative connotation, a monster of a program. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. No DAW can do some of the things BIAB does, while BIAB can do a lot that DAWs do."
