This is the first Christmas song that I have written and what
I wanted to do was to write a song about a person going home
and celebrating Christmas with their family. I wanted something
that would get me in the Christmas spirit.

Christmas Bells

Verse 1
Nothing compares to this time of the year
There’s so much love that fills the air
It’s been so long and now I’m ready to go
Back home where I belong

Verse 2

The time away has been a strain for me
I’ve missed so much and yes
I’ve been so lonely
There’s mom and dad and all the family too
I can’t wait to see them all again

Chorus
I want to walk down the streets of my home town
See the mangers and the wise men
Hear the Christmas bells as they ring out loud
See the Christmas lights once again

Verse 3
I can just smell all those pies mom will bake
And oh the taste of her turkey too
And watch her smile when dad steals a kiss or two
It’s the joy of the Christmas year

Repeat chorus

Verse 4
All of this time I have longed for this day
Can’t wait to see the smile on their face
The joy I feel with all this Christmas cheer
I wish would last all year

Certainly very, very Christmassy!

Tami's vocals are great

And the pads are all working so well.

Nice job!

Sonny,

Really nice job of creating/capturing that classic Christmas sound! In both the melody and arrangement/production.

Like it was taken right out of a classic Christmas movie. I can see the snow falling and a sleigh - Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney... and a host of carolers....

Nicely done.

Hi Sonny,

beautiful chord progression!
Interesting melody. You really caught
that Christmas feel with your arrangement.
And last but not least the wonderful vocals
and harmonies of Tami.
Mission accomplished.

Hi Sonny,

This is a real Christmas song, like you can hear in movies etc.
Tamy's voice is wonderful and very suitable for this kind of song.
We agree with Floyd about the snow you can almost "hear" falling
Great job!

Very nice. Very authentic to what one expects to hear from the more traditional, movie greats.

This is a good production at every level. Quite a professional result.

You have been more than fortunate with the quality of vocalists available to you. In that, you are in an enviable position.

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
