Wow, Josie! I'm not familiar with the original, but this is such a nice arrangement! A lot of vocalists have to depend on others to provide a musical tablecloth for their vocal entree, but I'm glad you know how to create your own backing tracks because you can perfectly match the trax to your beautiful voice!

side note: after this song finished playing, your song "BECAUSE YOU LOVED ME" started playing... WOW ALL OVER AGAIN!

Not quite sure how to describe the magic you create in these songs... yes, your voice is awesome... yes, the arrangement is well done... yes the mix is top-notch... but there's something else going on in your music that I can't fully understand let alone articulate. Maybe it's your ability to capture the sound of a musical era and reproduce it. When I listen to your songs I consistently find myself remembering the time spent in front of an AM radio falling in love with the female vocalists who filled the airwaves and seduced the hearts of young boys like me.

You have managed to capture that mysterious quality in your music. Your songs have an innocence that is seasoned with something maybe not quite as innocent, and the net result is mighty appealing.

As I read through what I've written, I have to admit its kind of jumbled and confusing... but it's honest stream of consciousness observations, and I'm going to stop writing now so I don't go back and edit all the spontaneity out of it.

Great job as always... please keep on making your beautiful music!

We love to interpret PD songs and here you have taken one and made it your own with a fine vocal and production. The flute is standout and the mix is spot on. We're late in responding and all the deserving accolades have been given but we can join in and say wonderful work. We much enjoyed it!

Noel, I appreciate that very much!

Janice and Bud!! Don't worry about being late to respond - I'm late to reply - it seems life's distractions have a way of popping up... Hope all is well with you.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
