Hello All...I'm going to try this for the first time here...

What you hear is BB and the guitar is a patch played by me on the Yamaha Motif keyboard.

Please enjoy!

Fine playing Flan. That motif sounds cool. Nice job on the backing tracks.

Congrats on your first song post!

Thanks Tommy...thanks Sundance...and thank you Steve...

Just giving this thing a whirlie-woo-who.

(I'm so ashamed, I should be doing much more...and much better)...

You know, this whole "audio" thing has me wreeling...

The technique of "make pre-recorded audio {bend} to your way of thinking" is, well, a real mind bender.

My OLD school for sure.

In my "old" days (ok, enough with the quotations), I'd sit with my analog 4 track cassette recorder (please...please...hold it down please...*snarf)...

Program my drum machine (uh, JUST the way I wanted it) to compliment my song (you know with the accents and upbeats and holds etc just where you wanted them)...and lay down the other instruments at hand (ok, it was just the guitar then...I have songs to prove it!)., boooooooooooooring...unless you like instrumental drums and guitar driven songs eh? On a 4 track? (STOP it I said!)

Well...that is the current crux...I'm at an impasse.

I want to GROW as a home-grown musician...I've got some great tools (perhaps too many!)...and the marriage of such has been difficult thus far.

RT's offer GREAT foundations...yet...they don't obey my every whim (dangit).

That's the over-controlling creative side trying to bust through...seeking equalibrium.

I drool at the mouth just thinking of the BB/RB is one heck of a platform...but...can it uniquely represent what I want to do or accomplish?

Well, I think with enough grace...and plenty of learning and exploiting to the fullest extent of PG's capabilities...I can probably get...close.

Like rharv's little signature: Make it your own.

I want so much for that to be my artistic truth!

Enough ranting...I'm hungry.

Thanks again guys...I'm just getting my feet wet...and it's FUN!

#TBT - The Release of RealTracks with Band-in-a-Box® 2008!

With Band-in-a-Box® 2007, we added RealDrums, which program users were THRILLED to see!

So, with Band-in-a-Box® 2008 we added RealTracks! Initially, 3 were released:
1. Real Pedal Steel
2. Real Acoustic Guitar
3. Tenor Sax soloing (RealSax)

Do you remember these? We do! We got a chance to "show them off" at Musikmesse that year, and the response was overwhelming - EVERYONE loves RealTracks! Adding real instruments played by top studio musicians adds an exciting human element to all your Band-in-a-Box songs!

Now there are over 2,900 RealTracks available in RealTracks Sets 1-352! Get them ALL with every Band-in-a-Box® 2020 UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, or Audiophile Edition.

Other new features added when we released Band-in-a-Box® 2008 included:
-Medley Maker
-Key signature changes at any bar
-"Fixed Do" Chord Entry and Display
...and more!

To reminisce on all the features released with older versions of Band-in-a-Box®, head to Help | Contents | Features within the program. There are separate lists going all the way back to Band-in-a-Box® Version 7!

New with Band-in-a-Box® 2020 for Windows - Artist Browser

Learn more about them when you're in the program by clicking aywhere in the "artist bio" within the RealTracks/RealDrums Picker or the [Artist Bio] button in other RealTracks/RealDrums selection dialogs - a Window will open the new Artist Browser dialog.

The Artist Browser dialog:
-Lists all artists and the instruments they play.
-Shows the total number of artists.
-Provides the biography of the artist for you to read
-Offers a text filter if available.
-Has a [More Info] button that launches the PG Music web page for that Artist.
-Also has a [OK - Show Artist RealTracks] button that will go back to the RealTracks/RealDrums selection dialog and list all the RealTracks/RealDrums that the selected artist plays.

Learn more about this new feature when you jump to the "More add-ons (Filter by Instrument, Artist Bios, RealDrum notation and more!)" section of our Band-in-a-Box® 2020 for Windows New Features Video.
