I have about 25 postings of original songs (that pop up when I do a search of my user name), they go back to at least 2010.
I recently had to abandon (they deleted my page) the site that I was using to post my songs and I'm now moving them to Soundcloud. My question is can I go to the original posting and change the links to Soundcloud? If not should I just add a reply to the original post with an updated link. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Greg! Where ya been, man???? It been a long time (no see)...
I don't think there is a good answer to this. After some time (fairly short, actually) you cannot edit a post. You could add a new post in the original thread...but that might seem odd after doing 25 of them... if you were to do them all at once, you would wipe out the entire first page and replace them with Achordocaster posts.
Here is a suggestion (take it or not). Since it has been quite some time since you have been around... why not post the songs again, one at a time, like they were "new" - maybe one a week (or every two weeks) - take a little time to get back to being "a part of things"... there are new people here who don't know your stuff.... get to know them (and they, you). There have been others who repost songs (some many, many times). Do it slowly, being "respectful" of others...and it would be good to hear your songs again - they represent a style that shows BIAB in a different light...
Try one. See how it goes and how that feels. Don't be a stranger...

Hey Floyd, I had some heart/health issues last year that I had to take care of... It's amazing what a stent & some cardiac re-hab can do for ya!  Feeling a lot better now. I also have a yard care business in the summer that keeps me pretty busy, but I am looking forward to some more writing & recording as Fall/Winter gets here. Thanks for the suggestion. I think it's a great idea and a fine way to get my song links updated! I think I'll start today. Stay tuned. Greg

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
