Hi All, Real band is driving me nuts!. I have found some time ago differences in the music between saved in BIAB and opening in realband, so now I save my BIAB files to MP3. and import to realband, then add my vocals. The problem is that I change the volumes of the audio on the different tracks, but as soon as I press play, it reverts to the recorded volumes? Am I doing stupid things? Karel

No, you likely have Control Change events embedded in the track that need to be removed.
Use Edit-Cut and then make sure the Data Filter checkbox is enabled before proceeding.
Inside the Data Filter, try cutting CC #7 and #11 for the whole track. This would remove any automated volume changes it stored. If it goofs something up just undo before saving.
There are other ways to do this also. In the Tracks window, expanding the track(s) height vertically will reveal the Node changes (CC events) and right-clicking in this area should reveal some options to perform this task.

Thank you rharv. That helped a lot. At the same time I also learnt how to change volumes of segments of music. Cool!

How to: Using Playable RealTracks in the Notation Window of Band-in-a-Box® 2022 for Windows
With the release of Band-in-a-Box 2022, we added Playable RealTracks! These allows you to add MIDI notes to the same RealTrack that is playing, either at the same time, or alternating back and forth. This means you can get the RealTracks to play the notes you want at key parts of the performance, either augmenting or replacing what the RealTracks is playing, for the section you want to change.
See how to use and edit these in the Notation Window with our video, Using Playable RealTracks in the Notation Window of Band-in-a-Box®
