Please excuse this self serving BUMP.

But I have done all I can think of, including trying tips from PG Music tech support along with writing support backup emails outlining continuing and in some cases new developing issues. I am toying with the idea of purchasing another 2017 hard drive, although really feel like I should not have to. As my issues continue on all three computers on which I have installed 2017, plus the hard-drive itself. Therefore this old non-techie thinks the issue might be from a faulty copy of 2017 containing some sort of glitch.

1st time since 2004 I have to say while I still love BIAB, I am not in love with it anymore. As these issues really make gigging a hassle.

Hopefully this squeaky wheel post will bring me some promising rain.

Danny,

I cannot see that purchasing a second hard drive will solve the problem. Before doing that, can you email me one of the unco-operative files and I'll see what happens on my system? My email is under my profile that's accessed by clicking on Noel96 (left of this post).

Regards
Noel

I will Noel, and I thank you but I have already mailed the same to PG Support a couple of weeks ago if memory serves me correctly and nada in return. So I will give them another week to replay.

Apologies for the frustration that may start appearing in-between the line. I promise I am doing my best to erase it.

Hi Danny, this might be a dumb question, but, have you turned off everything in your count-in preference dialog?

Cheers

Mike B.

Yes I have Pete, but it was "almost" worth the pains in the butt to see your smiling face again, LOL!

How have you been?

Hi Danny,
I'm having the same problem, but only on some songs. I'll send an email to Support, and maybe they can have another look.

Cheers,

This week I tried to play my saved tracks and none of them would do the audible count in. Just the silent visual count in, in the top right hand corner. It is 2016 version. I di go into the preferences and then metronome but nothing I do there makes a difference.

Sorry you are having issues, although I would swap with you in a heartbeat. Lol, just shows how one man's problem could be another's blessing.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
