95 percent of the time when I load a song demo, Midi tracks (yellow) appear in Soloist and then disappear within a second or so. Why is this?
I have the 2017 Band-in-a-Box UltraPlusPAK Upgrade with RealBand, so I should pretty much have every MIDI track available, from what I understand....

TIA! When you load the song demo, do you load it from the StylePicker? If so, can you suggest some of the songs that give this problem? Can you advise one or more of the songs that you load, so that we can verify and try to identify the issue here? Is there already data in the Soloist track? Perhaps you have some music in the Soloist track already, and this is not part of the song demo. After you load the Demo, and when you generate, this data is deleted. There will be plenty of support from the forum members if we can just have a few more clues.

When you load the song demo, do you load it from the StylePicker? If so, can you suggest some of the songs that give this problem?
Yes, it happens when I load them from the Stylpicker as a "song demo".
Can you advise one or more of the songs that you load, so that we can verify and try to identify the issue here?
Example track: _GYPSYFS (Set # RT 109) The instrument Ocarina appears in the soloist slot and then disappeared as soon as the track finished generating.
Is there already data in the Soloist track? Perhaps you have some music in the Soloist track already, and this is not part of the song demo. After you load the Demo, and when you generate, this data is deleted.

If it's not part of the demo, why would it pop up in the first place?

OK, thanks, with that extra information, I have been able to repeat the situation you describe.
Incidentally, when you selected 'Load Song Demo' from the StylePicker, were there two (2) choices available?
I'll report this to the developers for assistance.
The _GYPSYFS is an all RealTracks Style, so the MIDI on the Soloist is probably not supposed to be there. Others may know more however. It seems though that this is not unique behavior to that particular style.

No, there was only one style available. As an additional note in reference to it being a Real Track, the drums for that track appear to be MIDI, and load properly in the demo. Yes, I understand that there are no substitute RealDrums for that style, so MIDI drums are not substituted. Hence MIDI drums are used.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
