Hey Tom,
Loved it! Funny yet classy. Your backing tracks are as good as the lyric and your vocal. We particularly liked this couplet:
mighta been a little lucky when I finished off that jar Almost went and drove on home but I couldn't find the car
This is song is addictive! I can see us listening to this more than a couple of times. Great stuff, Tom! Best to a,
Alan & Di

Great track! I'm on my second listen as I type this.
Loved the lyrics, chorus especially. Nice guitar hook, very effective! And production just totally pro, for example the way you handle the track during the "Don't go worrying now Mama I ain’t never gonna drink again" line, very cool.
Great drums, what did you use if you don't mind my asking?
Nice looking website too!

Tom,
Like Kenny, you just keep "killin' it" one after the other.
Everything about this is top-of-the-line-pro. Start to finish. Polished production and mix.
Your vocals get stronger with each recording - if that is possible - they have developed a "star quality". This might be your best ever.
A very strong write. These type fast-pace, uptempo song separates the "boys from the men" when it comes to writers - there is no weakness here - all man. Again, start to finish.
Stellar.
Have fun in the Keys!

Hi Tom.
That is one big, BIG, sound you've got going on there.
Sounds like a cross between ZZ Top and Dolly Parton.
Loved every minute of it.

Hello, Tom
Very fun song with super vocal! The fusion of traditional country and rock'n'roll is really wonderful. I do love both Bourbon and Scotch. Which whiskey is the Devils Whiskey? Jim Beam Devil's Cut, Jenny (Johnnie) Walker, Queen Jennie or else? Very interested. Enjoyed my listen a lot.
Best regards.

Hey Tom, you once schooled me on Appalachian Honky Tonk and, man, did you nail it here.
This would appeal to modern country folks, traditional country folks, progressive bluegrass folks and Americana folks.
I just checked in and the accolades have already hit on your vocals/guitar, the write and the superb production...so DITTO!!!
We ain't gonna parse it out any further -- rather go back for another listen.
Album quality stuff you got going Mr. Adams!

Tom,
You've done it again! This is fantastic!
As others have already noted, everything about this sits perfectly with everything else. The clarity of the mix is exceptionally good and your performance is up there with the best in the forum. floyd mentioned "star quality" and I want to add +1 to that!
Your choice of instruments is excellent and the groove you put together really engages the listener! Loved it!
All the best, Noel

Man, this totally reminded me of Jerry Reed. And since Jerry Reed is just about my favorite feller besides Chet Atkins that is a super high compliment. Great genre song!!! Now, if you can just do me a triple time version of Jerry's Breakdown we can be real good friends.

User Tip: How to add drum fills without changing any other tracks
MarioD has shared some great advice when it comes to adding drum fills without changing any other tracks in your song:
There have been a number of questions asking how to add drum fills without changing any other tracks in a song. This is especially important if one is holding a chord for a few measures and wants to add a drum fill prior to the next chord. The following is how to accomplish that:
1-get the instruments/tracks to play like you want but don't worry about the drums for now.
2-generate the song.
3-freeze all tracks
4-unfreeze the drum track
5-add your fills where you want them
6-generated the song again - note this will only generate the drum track and not the frozen tracks
7- when you get the drums like you want them freeze the track
