Great article. Thanks for posting. I recently posted a YouTube link of a recording made with an inexpensive, sparsely featured Tascam DP-008ex multitrack recorder and the artist utilizes many of the mixing tips featured in this article to make what I found to be an outstanding sounding recording. The equipment and effects tools were very basic. What is front stage in the recording is talent, knowledge of the equipment and tools and talent again... Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
