An accidental meeting that afternoon gave her a chance to escape from choices she made in the past. But ultimately she must return to her normal life.
A small song we had lying on the shelf for about three years. We were pleasantly surprised by the nice, but complex, chord progression the BIAB melodist came up with. Loading the Piano One Vst on both piano channels (on the third channel there is a subtle Cello) gave the arrangement its final touch.
From time to time we tried to add a vocal that would complement this but every time without any success. Until finally we decided to simplify the chord progression in order to add a proper 'counter' melody.
Hope you like it, comments are encouraged.
Song specifics: Style: Alberti 2 piano channels (piano one) Strings channel: cello (Forte DXI)

Rob & Anne-Marie, I would love to see what else you have just laying around on the shelf. Very pretty song with a wonderful arrangement/production/video! That cello coming in around 1:40 was very effective! Thanks, Torrey

Hello, Rob & Anne-Marie
Very beautiful vocals and harmonies! Simple arrangement is very fitted to this tune. I think your experimentation fully succeeded. Very enjoyable listen.
Love the simple arrangement. The piano is excellent.
The vocals are over-the-top good.
Excellent.

What more to add? Very little.
The video clips are outstanding. The timing of the zooms, etc., work so well with the tune. One is captured from the first frame and gently carried through to the last.

Rob & Anne-Marie,
This is so beautiful! Wonderful vocal to complement the gently spirited pianos. The cello was such a nice touch after the mid part of the song. The music you two create and record is always some of the very best on the site. This is no exception.
