Summary of lyrics:

Fragments of the sea are carried by the wind
I brushed the windshield of my car
The dry sand dropped to the ground
Together with my affair in this summer

I have been always close to you
But now you are leaving me
I wish the change of both our mind must happen
At the same time or at least the same night

The season will not return anymore
My memories will fade away
But I don’t know if the day will come
When I can accept this good-bye

Hot sand lasts to the place
Where the waves roll in and out
I do not have enough courage
To get barefoot and run to the sand

I will forget even your name
I will send my memories of you away
But I wish the day would come true someday
When I could come across someone resembling you

I got caught in a traffic jam of the people
Who would return home from the sea
Their laughter echoes loudly
I feel such dusk is really sad

Best regards.

Dear Shigeki...

I adore the musical world you live in, or that part of it I've heard in the "User's Forum", at least!

Based on the sound and style of your compositions, it's a sweet, airy, and mellow world made of equal parts of sunshine and rain, wind and calm, work and play, and inhabited by musicians whose talents assist in maintaining the delightful emotional "weather" of the place. I guess I'm trying to describe a kind of musical utopia, here.

Your composition, "Sandy Beach -- Fragment of Summer", has a sound that reminds me somewhat of the kind of light disco tunes that one could hear performed by professional bands that played for weddings and other celebratory events throughout the 70's here in America. But then again, your arrangement brings it up to date for the 21st century with its more smoothly jazzy feel and orchestral pleasures.

It's easy to listen to, and danceable, even. The lyrics, as usual, are sublime. You and Ms. Yoshikawa are an enviable musical team!

Sincerely,

LOREN

Dear Loren,

Thank you very much for taking the time to listen and comment.
I much appreciate always your very kind words.
And many thanks for your really nice comments to my composition, Natsuki's vocal and lyrics.
The lyrics were written by Chisato, a female lyricist belonging to the amateur lyricist group named "Escargot" with deep interaction with our music circle.
We are constantly making a lot of works jointly.
This song is one of them.
The original arrangement of this tune was orthodox Latin music, but I found a perfect one from the Xtra Styles PAK 3, so I remade it this time.
I am very glad you enjoyed your listen a lot.

Sincerely,

Shigeki Adachi
