I wanted to try a Bakersfield style country tune. It's hard to keep to a style and not be derivative. Here's the info and lyrics. Hope you like it.

Thank you Everyone

Thank you heartache for the pain you put me thru

Hello teardrops you're a little overdue

Hey there sleepless nights, you got me feeling low

Hello everyone its been fun but now you got to go

Come on bar stool lets ride another mile

here comes whiskey and my cross eyed smile

I got all my friends, they wont let me be

Thank you everyone its been fun

but now you're killing me

Since you found your new friend,

I found some new ones too

and they wont leave me all alone

the way you used to do

instrumental

Hello honky tonk, I hear your closing down

hey there barmaid just give me one more round

hello taxi cab, you're my new best friend

Hello everyone I think I'm done this partys got to end

Hello everyone its been fun but now you got to go

Nice feel to the song.

Everything slotted together nicely, including the lead break

Liked the theme also. Great lyrics.

Howdy,

I lived in Bakersfield for almost 7 years in the 90s. You're pretty close on the Bakersfield sound ... a little twangy guitar (Don Rich style) would put this over the top. But that pedal steel sounds mighty fine! The fx on your voice works fine. The lyric fits the theme perfectly.Nice work!

Good work on this, zydecoal smile I found the groove on this tune absolutely infectious, and the lyrics are really interesting as well. They definitely paint a picture of sorts. It's got spunk to it, and it's got a professional sounding arrangement too. Nothing I'd change!

Thanks so much for sharing smile

This is fantastic. You really captured the Bakersfield sound IMHO. Add a little Don Rich guitar would put it the Buck territory. Nice vocal and lyrics.

This is great!

Hey, there, "zydecoal"...

Nuthin' like a bouncin' boogie groove to get folks out on the dance floor!

Your rhymes are inspired. The Real Tracks make the room shake with the rockin' of the rhythm and the boom of the bass.

Your lyrics warn us "the party's got to end", and that we "got to go", but your music clearly says otherwise! Make up your mind! laugh

Everyone's gonna thank you, "zydecoal", for "Thank You, Everyone"!
