Cool song.
The mix seemed exceptionally hot in the low and mid end. It was roaring a bit in the speakers here. I normally can listen to everyone's music without having to grab the knobs.... this needed to be lowered a bit .
Anyway... good writing.

Wow - you nailed this! I'm getting some really nice nostalgic type vibes on this one. The harmonies you did on this are fantastic, too! The arrangement is awesome, and your vocals really cut through and are attention grabbing. Great work, and thanks so much for sharing

This song IS the time machine. I love how all of your songs take me back to the village and NYC. I always feel like I AM back in the day, and having such a blast.
One of the first ones that hit me this way was "Woodstock" which is one of my all time favorites.
When I close my eyes and listen to one of your tunes I can see myself going in a time machine back to Greenwich Village in 1968 and Lou Reed and Nico are sitting at some cafe outside in sunglasses.
Great artistry.

Time Machine is one excellent song!
Everything is perfect, the mix, vocals, lyrics and backing tracks.
Bob, you have a knack for picking melodies and writing superb lyrics that you can sing flawlessly then finding the perfect backing tracks.
Two thumbs up.

Mr. Dean... Your "Time Machine" is upfront, in-your-face and personal  ! That rhythm, that rhythm, that RHYTHM! It's not just rhythm you feel -- it's a rhythm that feels you up! It's a motion-finder, a soul-sensor, a compass on the floor with an arrow spin-ning back/ and forth/ to the beat/ so we can move and groove/ to the beat/ and move/ and groove/ and do it a-gain... I think that your voice -- solo and in harmony -- is raw, urgent, and unrestrained, crooning a rocker's blues. It's a perfect counterpoint to the electricity of the guitars and the bass pulsing like a coded signal. The lyrics are wildly imaginative as they FLASH scenes and meanings as rapidly as a kaleidoscope. The whole thing is classic, a rocker's fever-dream. You treated us to a lot of sound and style, Mr. Dean. Rock on! LOREN

We're bit late on this and many of the accolades have already been offered.
We particularly agree with Tom's mention of how the write is poetic yet leaves the listener some dots to connect.
What struck us was how much the song reminded us of early Wilco. A vibe that we very much like.
Having said that your signature feel is still much present.
You have certainly started 2018 with a couple of great entries and we look forward to what's coming up.

This song is brilliant! The lyrics are outstanding! I love how you use the phrase twice then once per verse. genius! And your vocal is simply so right in emotion and delivery and prosody.
And the mix is wide and so well done.
