This was a really great song. Vocaloid vocals are not always my favourite thing, but I feel they work really well here, as they don't interfere or detract from the overall sound.
Really beautiful soul song, perfect selection of instruments for the mood. I like the introduction of the drums and those little effects fit in nicely. Very touching melancholic lyrics.
This is really, really beautiful... incredibly good!
The arrangement and the mix are spectacular. Your choice of instruments is superb and I love the way that you've used the stereo field to add audio dimension and texture.
It sounds like you spent many hours getting this to sound so good. There is a great deal of expertise on show in this piece of music and its production.

Thanks Noel. yes, I did spend quite a bit time fiddling with panning and other aspects of mixing techniques. I use Abelton Live as my main DAW
You did an incredible job on this, quekou It has just a gentle tone to it, I found it really easy to close my eyes and get lost in. I'm not sure if you've ever heard of a band called Air - but this is very reminiscent of some of their work. I especially likes when the drums kicked in.

You nailed this one - thanks for sharing!
Thank you. I haven't heard of Air before. Good to know. Will check it out.
Your song is always very impressive. This song is no exception. The combination of RealTracks is really nice. And your vocaloid is also wonderful. It is very different from vocaloids released in Japan, but I also like yours. Enjoyed my listen a lot.

We could not agree more. An enjoyable and fascinating production.
Nice arrangement. Your use of BIAB tracks is very well put together. The computerized vocals are a bit strange in spots but the overall idea is conveyed well.

Thank you for your kind words. Yes, SweetAnn is one of the Yamaha Vocaloid products. I think vocaloids released in Japan in Japanese are more tailored to younger generations.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
