Hi all. I listed this song in 2016. This is remixed in Studio One with some added vocals at the end. All comments welcome.

Sorry

Sorry
Your the one to break my heart.
There's nothing I can do.
You are the one to break my heart and make me feel so blue.

Now's the time to say I'm sorry and start things all a new.
I hope you find it in your heart oh please say you do.

I don't want to be alone and go on with out you.
I just wanna to start all over I hope that you do too

Rob,

The mix sounds really good - everything right where it needs to be.

Nice.

Cool ending.

Really nice work here! I never listened to the original, but I thoroughly enjoyed this one. It is very reminiscent of the early 60's to me. The harmonies are on point here, and the vocal delivery is really strong. This is the kind of tune I can imagine sounding amazing live.

Great job and thanks for sharing smile

Cheers,
Deryk

This song has such a lovely old timey vibe to it! The vocals match the feel of the song really well. Very well done.

I liked this one a lot - it's not a heavyweight song, but it certainly delivers upbeat, sugary goodness!

Good ending. Good start and middle, too. wink

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Rob,

I agree with floyd. Everything sits together so very comfortably and confidently that I can't imagine how to make this sound better than it is. Your singing, the arrangement and mix, and the production really sparkle in my headphones this morning.

Totally enjoyed it!

All the best,
Noel

Love this tune. Took me back to my teenage years. Dancing to records at the local community centre. Carefree days. Well done

What I liked about this: the precision of words/syllables to notes in the melody--nothing extraneous, each note/word right where it needed to be.
It's interesting to me that you chose a RealDrum set that is designated as "PopCalypso"..I never would have guessed that--good choice.
And loved your vocal track on this; overall a real winner!!

Hello, Rob

Feelings in the late 1950s are properly expressed.
I entirely agree with Noel.
Everything sits together so very comfortably and confidently that I can't imagine how to make this sound better than it is.
Your singing, the arrangement and mix, and the production really sparkle in front of my main speakers now.

Best regards.

Terrific. The soundstage is excellent on our monitors.

And, as floyd said about the ending...cool!

Tano's remarks regarding your write/vocal are interesting. The more we think about it the more that it seems to describe your compositions in general. And that is good...very good.

We enjoyed it!
