J'ai un Mac avec Windows par "Parallels" et j'hésite entre l'achat de BIAB version Mac ou Windows. Est-il vrai que la version Mac ne possède pas toutes les fonctionnalités de la version Windows ? D'autre part je n'arrive pas à télécharger la version démo pour Mac OS, ça me renvoie automatiquement sur la version Windows. Merci de vos lumières.

Je te confirme qu'il y a beaucoup de différences entre les versions Mac et Windows. Maintenant ça dépend aussi de ce que tu en attends. Pour moi, les manques les plus flagrants sur MAC sont :
- pas de positionnement précis du texte sous mélodie en mac
- pas de signe de renvois intermédiaires possibles avec fins différentes
- pas de piste audio en plus possible à enregistrer
- une mise en page beaucoup plus rudimentaire pour l'impression des partitions (pas de possibilité d'impression multi-instruments, 1 seule police de caractère, ...)
- pas de possibilité de combiner des styles par instruments (sur mac, on peut changer de style en cours de morceau globalement et c'est plutôt lourd)
- en règle générale, manque de convivialité et d'ergonomie sur pas mal de détails par rapport à la version windows qui semble bien plus développée (la version MAC n'a pas évolué depuis 2006)
Pour le reste la simplicité et l'efficacité du logiciel demeurent, il me semble même beaucoup plus stable sur Mac que sur PC (j'ai un mac avec Vmare-fusion) et puis la connectique me semble plus simple (cf échange sur clavier midi)

Merci de ta réponse Domi,
mais je rencontre un problème imprévu, j'ai donc acheté BIAB version Windows pour l'utiliser sur mon Macbook Pro via "Parallels" (émulateur Windows pour Mac), et lorsque j'essaie de me servir de BIAB il a des coupures de son et des variations de tempo incontrôlables (avec le DXI ou pas), j'avais cru acheter la rolls des ordis (plus de 3000E) avec un proc intel à 2.4Go et jusqu'à 1500Mo de RAM pour Windows (2.6Go au total) mais personne ne peut me donner de solution n chez Mac ni chez IPE où le service technique me répond d'acheter la version Mac si j'ai un Mac... Connaitrais-tu quelqu'un qui utilise BIAB avec un Macbook Pro?

Avoir acheté un Mac à 3000E+ et l'utiliser pour faire tourner un émulateur Windows, cela paraît... euh, comment dirais-je ?

Est-ce que, malgré ses défauts, la version Mac de BiaB ne te suffirait pas ? Car enfin, PGMusic ne diffuserait plus BiaB pour cette plateforme s'il n'y avait pas de client ??!!

Perso, j'ai abandonné Apple il y a 10 ans, après 12 ans de vie commune et passionnée...

Le travail pour avoir une version Mac comme Windows continue. Peter Gannon a dit Il y a quelque jours que ca serait bientot. A ce moment la, il envision que les deux versions vont etre pareil.

Excuser mon francais, appris aux camps de bucheron il y a 40 ans.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
