Not just adding accordions, but the stronger beat patters for waltz, hambo, schottis, polka that are typical of this genre. German walkt style is too strong in general, and the 4th and 8th bar finishes of drum/bass for hambo and schottis are not replicated in other styles so far available.

All the styles using I've tried in band in a box use the same tired accordion sound which is the bandonian. Sometimes a waltz for example needs just a single reed. Scandanavian styles are completely different from German waltzes. The Germans tend to use a wet tuned reed ( musette ) A point the bosses here should take into consideration. The French only use the Bandonian reeds for certain dances, Scottish players like myself only use them for 2nd accordion work. Lesson over for today.

Yes, a Swedish "Old Dance Orchestra" uses accordian, guitar, bas and sometimes a drum set or a flute. It's not a brass band.
I think Scandinavian Styles is to unusual. We have to create them ourselves.
