Well.... a bit of a story.... they were the original doors to the cabin on the back side. If you look at the first few pics in the video, you'll see a sliding glass door on the back side. 22 second in.... notice the right side slider is broken out and covered in plastic. It was that way for 2 years...summer, winter, bugs, critters, and Deborah lived there the whole time.
They were there originally but were removed to "modernize" the cabin when Deborah and her husband moved in after they bought it from the 4 guys who built it and used it as a hunting cabin.

Deborah had the doors put into the shed. If you look closely at the first pic of the shed at 2:46.....through the back door, you can see one of them stacked in the back. In the next picture, it looks like there's a broken/missing pane in one of them..... nope... that's the one I cleaned. Both doors were stacked in the back of the building, covered in spider webs and dust. Deborah said she wanted to take them with her and I told her she was welcome to them. She changed her mind as she didn't have any where to use them at her new house so they were left behind. I cleaned them up and painted them and hung them making one a fixed in place window and the other my hinged entry door.

A few tidbits on the pics of the old cabin.

13 seconds.... that vine on the back is poison ivy
18 seconds.... complete with christmas lights and a bench
36 seconds.... wisteria vine growing behind the siding and up into the roof.
50 seconds.... Deborah filled the truck to overflowing.

the filth was beyond anything I had seen. Dogs, rats, trash, water infiltration from a roof leak.... and hoarding. The odor was unbearable upstairs and almost as bad downstairs. That's why we burned it. We'd never be able to seal it sufficiently.

1:58 to 2:14 was less than 90 minutes. It went fast and hot.

Nice! I've owned a small farm, my step pa was a farmer all his life and the smaller acreage we live on now still keeps us connected daily to the earth. We get it.

Cool presentation of the transformation!!

Herb,

Excellent video. You are truly blessed, but that move could not have happened without your (and your wife's) determination and hard work. Congratulations. You've earned this little piece of Paradise.

Great garden!

Regards,

Bob

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
