Oh yeah...what a sweet style mashup.
We liked everything about it and for us it's hard to go wrong by throwing in gypsy jazz fiddle.
Classy and cool!

Oh yeah. Sweet syncho-perc in the stereo, a great progression and some very good instrumental turns. I liked this a lot.

Whew! This is what happens when you put BIAB in the hands of a pro! Great way to combo 2 movin’ Latin styles, excellent selection and arranging of the RT and RD and Loop components. Totally enjoyable listen, expertly done. Thanks Mike for adding some Latin love to my morning coffee!

Really nice work on this, Mike The styles you fit together actually work perfectly. I love how upbeat and happy of a groove it has. I can imagine it working with a dancefloor flawlessly. Great job and thanks for sharing!

"Cuban Pete"... I think that you served-up to your listeners the equivalent of a tasty musical "gumbo" by throwing that Latin gypsy jazz violin solo on top of all that percolatin' bass and percussion! It was a really hot, and inspired thing to do, sir. It's as though Stephane Grappelli stumbled into a recording studio where the Buena Vista Social Club were jammin'! And with that electric guitar solo stepping out on it's own, I think you could give your song a subtitle, like, " Son of Bossa Nova" I love mixing musical genres, and I think "Havana Son" is an exciting, flavorful, and original blend. I'm gonna come back here and listen to it again, but first I'm gonna move some furniture around so I can bust a few moves to the music! Double dee-lighted, LOREN (a.k.a. "bluage)
"Music is what feelings sound like."-- borrowed from a Cakewalk Music Creator forum member, "Mamabear".

Really, really good!! The fiddle sounds more like a melody than a solo which is just what the tune needs. The mix and composition are fantastic!!! Take care. Greg

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
