Hi, I'm completely new to BB/Rb this week. And I'm finding the interface of the programs more than a little confusing and I hope someone can help without blinding me with science. (I need a 'Click here and there') explanation My questions are: After I have loaded a prerecorded mp3/wav song from my computer and had Audio Chord Wizard to generate the Chord sheet and I have chosen my Real band or midi style for the song.
1:how do I playback the chords without hearing the original mp3 song file (do I need to get rid of the mp3 file. if so how?
2:Am I able to just save the Chord sheet and load it so I can make my own backing track with real band. If so how ?

You can mute the audio track in the mixer. You can also delete the audio track by right clicking on the Audio radio button at the top of the screen.
When you do an ACW, BIAB will also disable the style, so you probably should select an appropriate style as well.
After you are satisfied with the chord progression and have made the changes you want, just save the file as a BIAB SGU file, close BIAB, launch Realband, and load that file directly into RealBand. Have fun from there.

2:Am I able to just save the Chord sheet and load it so I can make my own backing track with real band. If so how ? Are you using Realband or BiaB? In Realband you could just delete the mp3 after running it through the ACW, then save the song as a SEQ file .. or as John mentioned simply mute the track with the MP3. The interface of Realband (to me) is more intuitive than BiaB for this type of stuff. Example video http://www.masteringmatters.com/stuff/ACW_Tempo_Map_creation.avi
Make your sound your own! .. I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

azulito, Welcome to the forums. If you click on the link below... https://www.pgmusic.com/videos.bbwin.htm... you'll be taken to a web page of PG Music video clips. There are two clips on this page that explain the Audio Chord Wizard. One clip is found under the "Overview" section. The second clip is found in the "Advanced" section. These are worth watching. Regards, Noel

Azulito, welcome.
Just checking, BIAB 2019 was released very late this morning. I think you posted before that. If what you purchased is BIAB 2018, you are entitled to a free upgrade to version 2019. Contact PG Music Sales.
This doesn't change the answers you already received.
