If I generate tracks in the VST and press play on my DAW there is no sound coming from the track that has the VST. I can drag and drop and create the individual tracks that play just fine but the VST track is silent. I can preview them by double clicking.
Is this the expected norm or am I doing something wrong here?
By the way, when I saw this feature....wow....great idea.
Thanks PGMusic!!!!!

At the moment that's how it is but it should be fixed soon so it plays the generated track/s in sync to the DAW, they just need to do a bit more work on it to get it working good.

This don't sound good? Guess I will have to pay the price of a ticket to see exactly what is going on with the new BIAB-VST

I have some Instrument VSTi's and some drum VSTi's.
With some, you can preview parts, build a song to play in sync with your DAW, and drop parts to your DAW.
Other VSTi's work as you described above. You can preview and drag n drop to a track.
So yes, either way is normal. Either way is also quicker than going into RB to generate a bunch of RT's to see which ones work together.

do you know for sure they will do this? Seems pretty lame not to play inside my DAW! How is that useful??

It just doesn't play through the VST - you must drag and drop to hear it. The files do play in the DAW.
For instance EZDrummer plays through the VST when BIABVST must be dragged on to tracks to play back.

I'm trying very, very, very hard to get this fixed ASAP! It's a must have, it can be done ! Now it's release there will be reviews done and they can be good if fixed now ! With MutlRiffs you don't want to drag them all in and mute them all but one to playback with your DAW, you want to set the section of track in the DAW to loop play while you select a MultiRiff track in the VST to play in sync with the other DAW tracks until you find the one that fits best, THEN you drag it in the DAW.
This is an example of what the VST should be doing, this vstplayer loads the files from the C:\bb\BBPlugin\SavedTracks current folder and plays them back in sync with the other DAW tracks giving you a preview to see if they fit correctly or generate another or preview another MultiRiff without having to load them into the DAW just to try them. http://miraxlabs.com/products/vstplayer/ I asked them to add sync to host as at the moment you need to midi note to trigger play. If the vstplayer can play them back from a folder surly the BiabVST can play them in sync using the DAW audio driver and not Windows Media Player.
