So, if you've been following this forum, you probably already know the VST does not recognize things like bar settings, mixer settings and frozen tracks in your saved BIAB file. But you may not have realized yet that, if you open your BIAB file in the VST and then save it, all of those settings are lost!
Be sure and keep a backup of your BIAB song files before saving them from within the VST!

Thanks for the warning. I can't believe you actually got to the point of saving a file from the VST. I am still spinning my wheels at loading a file and trying to get midi data from a Midi super track.

Thanks for the warning. I can't believe you actually got to the point of saving a file from the VST. I am still spinning my wheels at loading a file and trying to get midi data from a Midi super track. Yeah, I'm not using it for anything other than testing to see what it can (and can't) do. I wanted to see if it recognized any of those settings so I created a test song with changes in volume, panning, reverb, frozen status, bar settings changes and confirmed they were not coming into the VST. Then I wondered if they were at least being preserved so I saved the file and when I reopened it in BIAB...everything was reset.

Pointing this out serves as a good warning and hopefully will save some weeping and gnashing of teeth in the meantime.
