Hi thanks for feedback,
The problem seems to be:
1. Demo the features seems to work.
2. But when you get deeper in a project, Bugs in this
feature create worsening problems. Problems till its
unusable.

... what do you mean?
I'm not sure how to interpret "deeper in a project". What kind of things are you doing that BIAB doesn't agree with?

USING MAC BIAB 2018 ON IMAC PRO
Styles … Most BIAB Styles Have 2 Substyles, ("a" Blue 1/2 Note Bass, "b" Green 1/4 Note Bass); To Set Substyle "a", Toggle Bar Number To Blue; To Set Substyle "b", Toggle Bar Number To Green
Set Bars 1-4 To Blue (Half Note Bass)
Set Bars 5-8 To Green (1/4 Note Bass)
TRY To Eliminate Part Marker Change For Bars 1-5, Back To Blue
DOES NOT MAKE THE CHANGE NO MATTER WHETHER ...
BLUE, GREEN, OR WHITE PART MARKER PLACED ON BAR 5
ALSO IGNORES CHECKMARK ON "NO CHANGE IF SUBSTYLE"

Hi JDW, Welcome to the forum. Did you regenerate the song after changing the part markers? Also, if any of the tracks are frozen, they need to be unfrozen before generating for the part marker changes to take effect. Regards, Noel

I did try that late last night and it worked.
I was surprised because there is nothing in the Mac manual about using GenPlay for that purpose.

Also, don't forget the song setting "vary style in middle choruses". Even if you have "A" and "B" part markers within a chorus, they'll be ignored in all but the first and last choruses. It will just play the "B" part marker in the middle choruses.
