I've followed the video showing how to use the BB DAW plugin in Cakewalk by Bandlab. All cool, except for the part in the video where the files imported to Cakewalk are playing, and it shows the BB ChordChart displaying the current measure as the playback occurs.
That doesn't work for me. The playback works fine in Cakewalk, but the BB plugin just highlights the first mesaure, and sticks there without staying in synch with the musical playback.

Are you using the latest 1.12.16 ?
The sync issues are being worked on at the moment so there will likely be a new release soon.

Hi
Two things to keep in mind .
The chord chart will not follow until you have at least generated the tracks,
(no need to drag them in to test this but you must generate)
Also the tempo in the cakewalk project must match the tempo of the song in the
plug in, or the cursor may hang in the first bar, or be way out of sync.
I seem to remember finding a setting once for turning chord follow in chord sheet on and off but cant for the life of me find it again. Maybe some one else will know.

Hi Mike, in the plugin you can go to File->Preferences and in the preferences dialog you can turn off "Highlight bars during DAW playback" to stop bar highlighting. Hope this helps!

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
