Janne, A clever write. Some lines made me laugh out loud. A super catchy melody - especially on the chorus - had the flavor of songs we used to listen to on AM Hits radio. Nice. The musical combinations work well. Enjoyed it. fj Thanks Floyd for your kind review, I can almost hear you laughing it's the singalong chorus that made me come back for this one after so many years, felt like it truly needed real vocals. Janne

You have a very creative approach to this production. There is a modicum of delightful quirkiness that makes this song so endearing. Clever lyrics!

Hi Janne, Nicely layered vocals Janne. It turns out that your musical creativity was already present at a very young age Rob and Anne-Marie

Well after that first verse you know it's going to be fun! "mama it's not alright" Hahahahaha! And what a great choice of seemingly disparate RTs...but they worked together excellently. And nice harmonies also. Fun!!! J&B
Thanks Janice and Bud for your positive comment I remember that this 'mama' part was the last part I wrote for the song, I was looking for an Elvis song to rhyme with tonight and I found 'it's alright mama', so I just turned it around, thanks for the laugh Janne

Hey there Jannesan, nice job on this! Excellent mixdown on all of this and very soothing to hear. The reggae vibes come across exceptionally well, and the vocals harmonize well with the other instruments. Thanks for sharing! Thanks Joe for your kind words Janne

Awesome backtrack Janne. Love the way you double tracked the vocal. Well done. Glad you resurrected it Thanks Scott for your kind words It was fun to make the vocal track, doubled in the chorus, plus one track singing bass line and then the second voice. It would be nice to find more ideas for layering vocals and also time to work on those ideas... Janne

Janne,
Really fun song! It's a kind of unusual song from you. The mating vocals and the piano are particularly fun. The ending is also fun. Enjoyed my listen a lot.
Best regards.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
