Got this annoying thing happening. Please see image below. When I right click on a bar, the menu has very tiny font for some reason....
Poking at the program, I found that if for example I have a window with starting bars generator opened and while it is open right click on the bar, menus have normal size font.
Is there a cure to make bar settings font normal throughout?
Jim, thank you for testing. Actually it is not the "Edit" dropdown menu that has scaling issues, but the "bar settings" one. Right mouse click on the bar.
I think it is either BIAB bug or the way it communicates with my video card (scaling glitch). Will reinstall latest BIAB build tomorrow to see if it helps.
Pinpointed! When I use BIAB, I use second monitor for VST synths such as Halion. BIAB on main screen and VST at full screen on the second monitor. As soon as VST is placed on second monitor, scaling of Bar Menu in particular becomes tiny, all other items (menus) I use in BIAB with 2 screens behave as they should.
A small bug, but VERY annoying! I have to get very close to monitor to read it. I hope PG team will look into it.
P.S. Videotrack, thank you for testing! I do not have any system language packs installed except for English it came with.
Who knows how often developers or technical support skim through the forum, sometimes you won't see a post from any of them for a few days.
Then there is the "support@pgmusic.com" email address. You get an automated acknowledgement but it's easy for the email to get lost in the day-to-day shuffle over time.
I've had better success when I've used the formal support form. At the very least provide a link to this thread.
I was wondering if anybody who has a dual monitor setup can test this for me. It will only take 2-3 minutes. If anybody brave enough, can you please try these steps:
1)Open BIAB 2)Open any 3rd party VST (synth OR Fx) within BIAB 3)Drag that VST window to second screen 4)Right click on any bar of the chord sheet of the BIAB
Is your "bar menu" about 3 times smaller than usual or it is normal size?
The point of this is to see if it affects my system in particular or it is indeed a bug.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
